Aerial Sculpt & Stretch

Tiger Lily is excited to be the ONLY studio in the MIDWEST to offer this fun, flying fitness class and apparatus!

This 1 hr class is designed for all fitness levels. We use the uniquely fun, comfortable, and supportive Fly Gym apparatus that allows for 360° motion while relieving joint pressure which allows for greater range of movement and a more enjoyable fitness experience. You will gain strength, agility, flexibility, balance, and an improved state of mind as you progress through the most supported or grounded exercises to mid level movements and build up to high flying movements a few feet off the ground!  Because of the maximum of 3 students allowed in each class, you get lots of individualized attention and instruction time. Get ready to fly and most importantly, have FUN!!
*Dress Code: Please wear form fitting clothing that covers your underarms, longer shorts or yoga capris and yoga socks are preferable, loose clothing can get tangled in the fabric and exposed skin can get irritated from the fabric rubbing. No jewelry allowed on Fly Gyms.

Lyra (Aerial Hoop)

This 1 hour class is designed for all fitness levels. The Lyra is a circular steel apparatus (resembling a hula hoop) suspended from the ceiling on which the dancer may perform beautiful poses, movements, and acrobatics. It can be used static, spinning, or swinging. You will learn the techniques used and work on conditioning, strengthening, and flexibility exercises needed to progress in this graceful and creative art form. Get ready, Cirque Du Soleil may be calling you soon!
*Dress Code: Please wear form fitting clothing that covers your underarms and long leggings. Exposed skin can get irritated from the grip tape used on the hoops. Absolutely no jewelry allowed on hoops.

Silks (Aerial Fabrics)

In this 1 hr class, you will learn the foundations of Aerial Fabric (also known as aerial tissu/silks) including strength building and conditioning exercises, beginner climbs, wraps, locks, and inversions. This is a beautiful, fun, and artful way to gain a full body workout!

*Dress Code: Please wear long leggings and well fitting tops that cover the under arms. Loose/baggy clothing gets tangled. NO JEWELRY or ZIPPERS/BUTTONS, they damage the fabric.

Aerial Sling

This 1 hour class is designed for all experience levels.  You will use the aerial sling (aka aerial hammock) to work on proper technique, conditioning, and flexibility exercises during a thorough and fun warm up. Learn several beautiful aerial poses and wraps as you build a creative and fun routine!

*Dress Code: Please wear form fitting clothing that covers your underarms, longer shorts or yoga capris and yoga socks are preferable, loose clothing can get tangled in the fabric and exposed skin can get irritated from the fabric rubbing. Absolutely no jewelry allowed on Aerial Slings.
